The Sons of the Republic of Texas, Inc. (“SRT”) consists of members who are direct lineal descendants of those that settled the Republic of Texas prior to February 19, 1846, when Texas merged with the United States as the 28th state.

Chapter Meeting and Location Map

Saturday, February 15, 2020, the Chapter will hold it's February Chapter meeting at our usual meeting place at Texas Tradition, in Katy. Immediately prior to the meeting, Chapter members will participate in the Katy ISD FFA Livestock Show & Rodeo parade.

Our guest speaker will be Mr. Gary Pinkerton, author of a new book titled True Believers: Treasure Hunters at Hendricks Lake. Mr. Pinkerton will discuss the possibility of the location of wagons of silver stolen from the Spanish by pirate Jean Lafitte and just before being captured by the Spanish, he sank the wagons in Hendrick's lake near the current town of Tatum, Texas. The Chapter meeting will begin at 11:30 am.

Luncheon is $20.00 per person.
