The Sons of the Republic of Texas

Join us at 8:00 am, before the Chapter meeting, as we participate in the 82nd annual Katy ISD FFA Livestock Show & Rodeo Parade when we meet at Rhodes Stadium to setup our parade float. Immediately following the parade, our Chapter meeting will begin at 11:30 am at Texas Tradition restaurant in Katy, TX. Our guest speaker will be author James Bernsen who will discuss his latest literary work titled "The Lost War for Texas: Mexican Rebels, American Burrites, and the Texas Revolution of 1811" and the research that went into it.​

In addition to all that, we will install our 2025-2027 Chapter Officers with the swearing in ceremony as well as our Chapter's longstanding tradition of reading the Travis Letter.
